Will the US Army have a problem with me home schooling my kids?

I homeschool because they were not learning in the public school. They are flourishing now.

Many military families have chosen to homeschool their children, due to constant moves and other reasons. It allows for less of a distruption and is more conducive to the duty calander. As long as you are following your state’s guidelines, the Army isn’t concerned with where your children receive their education. Jill C

Jill C is correct, as long as you follow your State’s guidelines, all is fine with the Army.
However, if you ever go overseas, take a look at the Department of Defense Dependent Schools (DoDDS). These are schools offered on military bases in the countries that the Army stations the soldiers. I have read and heard many good reports on these schools. These schools are prepared for the difficulties sometimes faced by military families (family moves, deployments, friends leaving).
Best Wishes to you and your family! jpbofohio
