meuw_two asked:
For those of you who have been home school or to the parents who have home schooled your children, what do you think the pros and cons are/were? Do you teach/were you taught things that you could not learn/were not taught in school? If so! What were the extra things that you taught/learned and how much of a difference did this make? Would you recommend home schooling for some or all of the other kids? If so! Why?

Miss Mayhem asked: Our son has been homeschooled the last year and we are thinking of leaving him at home for another year.
So far he is reading Dr. Seuss level books and other of the same category, he knows his adding and subtracting up to 3 numbers, we do science projects and he has regular park days with his friends (also home schooled) and are involved in his learning.
However my husband still has reservations. I think home schooling has been a great experience, and I am not looking for what should I do - just what do you think about it? I look at my son and see him doing well -
what do you feel are the pros and cons of it?
