My daughter is in 8th grade and will be going to high school soon. She sees the world as an adult but that means she also sees the negatives. This is making school hard for her and she is in what her school calls the talented and gifted program. She is very intelligent but i am afraid of the fact that she can not with stand the peer pressure of high school next year. So I need advice on home to home school her then.
I am not sheltering her.
Also i live in massachusetts if that helps.

What are your thoughts/opinion about home schooling?

Home schooling can mean a lack of interference with other kids and peer pressure, but may lack some social interaction.

How do you view home-schooling?

I hear that high school can be really tough on kids with high moral standards. I have thought about home-schooling during these years, due to poor peer pressure.
