I would notify the state education Board. My in laws home school and there is a state teacher that comes every year to monitor progress.
I would ask that they come and take a looksie. Jessie R

This happened to me, my mum took me out of school to “home educate” me and then didn’t bother and left me in front of the television every day for 8 years. Tell the local school inspector and social services. And remember that both social services and the school inspectors are lazy, so you’ve got to keep on their tails. Good luck. Ava

How do you know this?
My brother had a problem with his ex when she took the kids out of school to homeschool them. Unfortunately she worked full time, so I don’t see how she could possibly have homeschooled them.
I would tell her that you are concerned, could you see some lesson plans and progress charts?
But I don’t know how you could possibly tell that she is just letting him play video games. Emily Hobhouse

if were any kind of father, dont use miles as an excuse. call cps or go and get him and you take care of him
