I have a problem with home, school. and sickness?

home school problem
Jack H asked:

Okay. This is going to be a lot…

My step-mom & sister have been arguing so much lately, that my dad is breaking up with my step-mom. My sister has been staying at my grand mother’s lately, but I haven’t because I need to keep in touch with my girl friend until she gets a phone. (Not important for now.) My dad has been breaking things, screaming, fighting (Verbally) and the whole lot. Its not very depressing, its just gotten very old.

On top of that, I’ve been down with a serious illness lately and its not going away until monday. My dad is threatening me to go to school tomorrow but I’m not up to it. I don’t know what to tell him, he won’t listen to anyone. And my grand mother doesn’t know what to do either.

Right now, I can’t sleep because of all the stuff that’s going on… Can you give me some ideas?

Just leave your father alone. The only thing you can do is “calm down”.Don’t think about them.if they fight and argue again, put on your earphone.Listen to some music. cynthia

I have the exact same problem. My mom screams at me 24/7 and I often get sick for great periods of time. You have two options: Tell your dad you CANNOT go to school by any means, but be sure to assure him you will make up any work you have missed thus far and stay after school to catch up ect. OR: go to school ( I know it’s hard ) to avoid conflict. You have to take control of your life. ziggy_zaggy12

Start out with a counselor/psychologist and let them know everything that’s going on and maybe they can help you out with this whole situation and how you can talk to your dad for example. Best bet is school counselor since it’s free. Puckprincess
