You can easily find out the reason. You can easily find out what your mom could accept from you in order for you to stay in school. And, you need a list of your reasons for a) why you want to go to school and b) why you don't want to be at home. This is a family 'war' without guns. This is a dispute. Your reasons must appeal to her, not to you. If you say 'I want to go to school so I can meet all my friends...that's zero to you'. If you say 'I don't want to be at home 'cause you'll watch me all the time...zero to you'. If, however, you say 'I want to go to school so I can take 'debate, or photography(something she approves of and you like OK...now you're winning. If you, however, say 'I don't want to be at home 'cause I get hung up on TV and internet at home and waste time, you might win. In other words, you gotta work on it, if it's important, and I'd think it was. Parents get used to kids complaining and ignore most of them--especially those that seem to just be whining.
