i wouldn’t worry too much it won’t be long until you get the hang of it and will be learning in no time.

When you enroll in public school they may do a placement test to see where you are academically. If not, they need to be made aware of the situation so they can get you the resources you need. Your mother should be the one to tell them this, but if she doesn't then you need to take the initiative.
