OUCH! 2nd grade stuff is nothing like stuff u will be learning in 8th/9th grade. One thing for sure, START LEARNING NOW and dont stop. That is very messed up of ur mother to be denying you your education (no affense) Brian

Your mother has done you a real disservice, but what is done is done. When you enroll in public school they may do a placement test to see where you are academically. If not, they need to be made aware of the situation so they can get you the resources you need. Your mother should be the one to tell them this, but if she doesn’t then you need to take the initiative. They are probably not going to put you in a room with a bunch of 7 year olds, but you will most likely need some tutoring until you get caught up. Mel

    Hi

Well as long as your excited about starting Public School then that’s good =]
i wouldn’t worry too much it won’t be long until you get the hang of it and will be learning in no time.
there is quite alot of sites that you could practise stuff with such as English,History,& Maths!

    few links for mostly english:

and tons more have a look on Google!

I hope i’ve helped and good luck

Talk to a school counselor about it. You’ll most likely be put in all intensive classes and maybe even special learning. You’ll also need to start doing studying on your own right now. Buy 3rd grade curriculum and start working your way up. Study, study, and study. You and her need to take responsibility for this. This is probably child neglect too, and I’m surprised no one has stepped in to say anything about it. *.© cherie
