Do you think he will leave it alone on the Federal level? Will there be verbiage to persuade states to make it near impossible for the average family to choose this option?

Your thoughts?

I wish I was home-schooled. Public school is like hell for me. Popular girls, mean teachers, think-they-are-all-that guys, loads of gossip, drama, I JUST HATE ALL OF IT! And, actually, I don’t want to have friends, I like to be independent. My mom will probably say no, but I want to try anyway. So is there anyway to convince my mom to let me home-school???????

What do you think of the ruling in California that abolishes home schooling?

Marty has his hand up asked:

I think it’s about time! Home Schooling is child abuse. Children need to get a good education if they are going to make anything of themselves, and leaving in the hands of non-professionals is criminal. It is no more a parent’s right to pick and choose what their children are taught than it is their right to decide to deny them from receiving blood transfusions. Prior to this ruling children were treated as property, in regard to education, and this is headway in allowing them the basic rights that American’s have been granted for decades, without their parents or anyone else’s interference.
