Can i complete high school quicker through home schooling?
Brad asked:
Ive moved interstate and around the world quite a bit, so I’m a few years behind everyone else. I wont complete year 12 until I’m 19 if i stay at a regular high school. But If i choose to finish high school through home schooling is there any way i could complete it faster? Celebrity’s always seem to somehow finish school really fast despite there busy schedules, I’m really busy too, and i often don’t have enough time for my school work.

Yes. If you are gifted enough, then homeschooling can be the perfect way to accelerate your schooling. It allows you to go at your own pace. One kids who did so went to college @ six. pastageek

Yes, but it’s not fun at all. I think it’s best to stay in a public school. The whole greatness of it is the social aspect. You lose all of that with home schooling, and you will start to miss it. David

I personally think home schooling is not better than going to high school.
If you’re in florida you should try signing up for classes online. Because you can go at your own pace and finish whenever you want to. You can make up any credit and take any class online even P.E. Then you can get your diploma. Bossy

Home schooling requires you to complete the same materials as regular school. You just do it at home. There is the GED route. After age 16, you can take the test anytime. Pass it and you get your equivalency diploma. You can get into college with a GED. Milton

Yes I did even with derailing for quite a while after my father’s death. I have been in PS and HS and I like homeschool better largely because there is no “busy work” I got my work done in a few hours a day and most days did 2 lessons a day just to get done even faster. Also I didn’t take a summer break (I did more small breaks) so I didn’t have to keep reveiwing every year for what I forgot over summer. Tara

yup. I am home schooled as long as you can get all of ur work done, it is also faster if u do not take summer break. :/ anyways there are also charter schools u can go to, I will provide a link to my fav one!
u can even ask questions online to people that work there!!!>
