Anyone know of any Romanian home school curriculum?

spuck032780 asked:

Home schooling is becoming a legal option in Romania. My friend has a foundation that takes care of 7 children during the day and we are interested in possible homeschooling the older ones because the school in their village is not providing much of an education. Know of any websites we can check out? Companies we can contact? Any help would be appreciated!

I know there is a Christian orphanage that has a school. I think the name of the orphanage is Nathanael, I don’t remember which city it is located in but it part of an American organization called Christian Aid Ministries.

If they children are able to read and write English, Charity Christian Academy accepts students from around the world. Although it is not advertised they do have a sliding scale for tuition.

I wouldn’t think so. The US is the main producer of homeschooling resources. As an Aussie, I get most of my stuff from the US. That’s not going to be helpful for you if the kids don’t speak English though. Perhaps spending a year or two getting their English up to scratch, if it isn’t already, would be best. What resources does the village school use? Maybe you can implement their stuff better than they do.
