home schooling
7thDay Sinner Anonymous asked:

who think that home schooled children have no friends and no social life actually prove this to be true? By proof do you personally know people who do? I home schooled my daughter though the 2nd grade because we just moved, and my daughter had friends. And for those of you who think home schooling makes a child have no friends are you telling me that school is the only setting possible for a child to learn to inter act with other children?
Poop Master: I hope your experience for home schooling is the exception and not the rule.

i was homeschooled until 9th grade lol. however, i was in an independent study program (ISP) for a private school nearby and i got to participate in sports. once in high school, i already had friends i had known for years. in addition, i had friends from the neighborhood and my church. i had quite the busy life. I’ve been home schooled for two years and I still hang out with friends. I just came back from a field trip, haha. Ring Leader

Haha, I have been Home schooled ALL my life and still am. I am in 9th grade and I have MANY friends!! I know a lot of people from my church, neighbors, and people I know from different sports and other things. SO, I think it is better to home school. You do not have to deal with all the public school drama (drugs, violence ext.). And if you home school, you know what your child is being taught, and know they are not being taught things they should not!! Carey

Yeah I am homeschooled and I don’t have any friends!!

my parents took me out of highschool for the only reason that I wouldn’t be influenced by peer pressure to do bad descisions ect…

Do you consider using yahoo answers and ordering pizza as social life????? Because that’s all I do talking to other people now.

People should stop giving the image that every homeschooled kid joins clubs and is super smart, actively social talkative person. By creating this image in people’s minds you are creating a stereotype that’s not true for everyone.

People will give me thumbs down but that is the truth for me! just because you don’t like my situation you shouldn’t give me thumbs downs Poop Master

I’ve been Home schooled for as long as I can remember and I can still make
friends through sports leagues, church, and even new people moving into the
neighborhood and my family going to welcome them. I think there are even
websites that allow you to get in contact with other Home schoolers around you.
And school is not the only way for someone to be with other kids, and sometimes
there are kids at school that can badly influence them. Laker Fan

I have an at home tutor witch can be considered homeschooling because I don’t go to school.

I do have a social life. I go out with friends all of the time. I even have a boyfriend. I also go places with my tutor’s kids ’cause they are my age. jc25251558
