Ok, so i have a problem at school. Im a junior in high school and found out i have anxiety and i get panic attacks almost everyday at school. I start freaking out and scared that i might get a panic attack during a certain class then i end up getting them anyways. I went to my doctor and she didn’t help. I’ve been going to see a number of counselors too. But going to psychiatrists and counselors interferes with school because i have to miss school to go, therefor i have a number of absences. I missed school today because i cant take it anymore. Everyday the same thing. I go to school, i usually try to do my work, but im so afraid of getting a panic attack that it usually ends up happening anyway then all im thinking about is the time and how many minutes until the bell rings so i can just get out of that class.Or sometimes i ask to go to the restroom and stay there the whole class period because when i get a panic attack i start to shake and i feel the urge to go to the restroom so bad. And i don’t do my school work, so i have to take it home for home work. Also when we do tests and stuff i know im not doing my best because i rush through it and i just cant concentrate or i didn’t learn anything. ahhh, i cant take this anymore. So today when i woke up i started crying because i know that next week we have our final exams and their a huge percent of our grade. i cannot stay in a class the whole day and i know im gonna do horrible and fail. This is my junior year its the most important and i cant fail. So i told my mom if she withdraw me and home school me but she says no. She thinks that there is nothing wrong with me because when i am home i don’t get panic attacks and she thinks its all in my head and im doing this for attention, but im not! She tells me that if i don’t want to go to school that’s my choice and shes not gonna pay for me to get home schooled that if i drop out, i drop out. What should i do?? I cant go to school…. but i still want to get an education.

I absolutely hate school, but the thing is I’m a senior in high school. I have liked school all my life, but ever since I moved to georgia I’ve been hating it. Now I just want to be home schooled. The problem is that I haven’t been going to school for the past 10 days and my assistant principal is thinking about withdrawling me. I need some advice on what to do..thanks

My baby brother who is 6 years old just began school this year…about 1 week ago. He is in the first grade anyway there is a little boy whom he befriended while in the kindergarten who is of a different race. Anyway this year my brother was excited to see the boy in his 1st grade class but to his dismay the little boy made some skin color jokes and said some not nice racial things to him. I have tried to explain to my brother that the little boys parents must be teaching him these things at home and not to be upset…I also suggested he find some other friend to play with. This is making him very upset he states that everyday he begs little boy to play with him but the little boy degards him and makes him feel worse. Today my brother came home and stated that he “hates” this other race of people and that they are all crazy. I dont want for that to be his outlook on life. I go to Connections Academy a cyber school. My school provides laptops for the highschoolers (I am a sophomore) 3 months ago 1 hinge for the laptop broke the other one is fine the laptop works great. But what should I do I am going to be homeschooled 2 more years before I have to send in the laptop and I am afraid the other hinge might break or something else. Please help Thank you
