I am tired of people saying it is better if you are public schooled. I am 15 and in 11th grade and have been home schooled all my life. ( I have loved every minute of it) How about you?
For Thinking… my parents don’t teach me I learn of the TV because they both have jobs and don’t have time to teach me.

All the Home School children that I met seem to be 3 grades smarter than Public School children, I noticed this because I have worked in Daycare and Kindergarden.

I’m having problems at my school. I would like to be homeschooled, but both my parents work and we can’t afford for either of them to quit their jobs. I was wondering if it was possible for someone else to homeschool me. My sister is a stay at home mom and I was wondering if she could do it?

That’s how I’ve been educated and many people have told me that people had told them that people who home-school learn slower.
A lot of people also ask me if I have any friends. Of course I do! I don’t blame the source of education one bit for people’s socializing skills. I think it all depends on whether you try to socialize or not.
I welcome all appropriate opinions! If you give your input on the situation then I appreciate it!

girly girl asked:
My daughter wants to enroll in a home school program but she is in gifted at her school. If we take her out of school and we place her in a home school program, well she loose her space in the gifted program. If not what program can I place her in and if so how will they know where to place her. What programs are there available for her that have gifted and are virtual or that I don’t have to actually teach her. Just like Abeka Academy or Florida Virtual School.
